Drive me
Like the dust of Dawn
That steals the mist
And catches the sunlight
In its winter smiles...
For I'm tired,
Of this flagrant night
Hovering on my shoulders
Like an unforgotten Sin...
You know the clouds
Are counting their last,
Before they melt
Into blissful kisses...
My faithful breeze
Shall gather them all,
And plant them tender
On the warmth of your lips...
As you taste the dew,
That has waited too long
Teetering at the edge of the leaves...
That sway to the songs
You sing to me,
As the Dark undresses
To consummate with the Day....
While the blue grey skies
Descend at your doorstep,
To bring you the wafts
Of all that simmers
Silently, within my soul...
